​My sincere thanks to Harolyn Panetta for inviting me to speak about Beneath the African Sun to the Club 48 members at their lunch event. After my presentation we had a active and valuable Q&A session followed by further discussion at the signing of the novels. It was an enjoyable afternoon.

A great big thank you to the Lorne Park Public Library for featuring "Beneath the African Sun" as part of their Adult Summer Celebration. After my presentation, there was a lively and very enjoyable Q&A. Special appreciation goes to Sharon who organized and moderated this event. Her colleague, Zeenat spoke to her private collection of Kenyan artifacts and fabrics that were on display. I am deeply grateful for the success of this event.

It was a great pleasure to meet and greet the many people, mainly Goans who dropped by. Some engaged in conversation and purchased my novel while others enjoyed reminiscing  about  Kenya. To a room-filled audience, I spoke about Beneath the African Sun.  A special thank you to Juliet Rebello who volunteered to read portions from the novel. She was superb in her delivery of the readings. This was followed by a curious and informative Q&A. and a spirited discussion.
